Name of Project: SM City Puerto Princesa (2013)

Location: Puerto Princesa, Palawan

SM Puerto Princesa is located on the burgeoning capital of Palawan province dubbed as the best island in the world. It is situated on a 4 hectare corner-through lot located along Malvar and Lacao st. in downtown Puerto Princesa. It features a total floor area of 54,000 sqm with three (3) levels of mall with a cinema and directors club, 180 food and retail shops for the convenience of the locals and tourists traveling the city. The design exudes ingenuity with its striking jagged façade profile that breaks its mass to fit in the resort like vibe of the vicinity. The interior also reflects the same resort feel with the use of wave patterned fascia with wood laminate accents coupled with warm floor materials. For environmental considerations the building has water re-use system and low-e coated glass to reduce heat gain.
